Founding Commitments

A note from the Founder

This practice was born out of a deep need to serve not just clients, but causes. To treat law not as an instrument of mere transaction, but as a method of repair. I have spent over three decades engaging with financial systems, institutional accountability, and constitutional interpretation. My approach is shaped by an insistence that the law must remain intelligible, must serve the structurally excluded, and must operate with humility.

In every institution I have served – from the Reserve Bank of India to the National Company Law Tribunal – I have encountered both the strength and the fragility of our legal system. The law can empower. It can also exclude. It can clarify, or it can confuse. It can offer dignity, or it can deny it.

Our work is guided by three principles:

• Accessibility – Law must speak plainly and be reachable by all.

• Accountability – Institutions must be transparent, answerable, and grounded in duty.

• Equity – Legal solutions must account for history, structure, and context – not just surface facts.

You are welcome here if you seek counsel rooted in integrity, guided by reflection, and committed to justice.
